Headspace II mc headamp
The Headspace II is the new, updated version of the Headspace. It is a moving coil headamp (or pre-preamp) which does a similar job to a step-up transformer (ie raises the output of moving coil cartridges up to moving magnet levels) but does so with transistors rather than transformers. It has the same audio circuit as the original Headspace but now has a rechargeable battery so it can operate completely independently of mains power. The power supply is used to recharge the battery. Four gain settings and eight load settings are available, making this a flexible option to suit a range of cartridges.
